Flavors of my Life

In my neck of the woods this week has been amazing weather wise.

With this weather comes a great attitude towards, well, everything.  I have more of a hop in my step.

It seems that this is the case for many. I have noticed more people smiling in the halls at work and saying hello.  Even those difficult people who never crack when I say hi as cheerfully as possibly and normal avoid my glance.  Those people are even responding!

I am loving spring and I am loving the springy attitudes.

Does anyone else notice a change in people’s attitudes?

We put up the swings on the swing set earlier this week and it seems to be a hit with Miss C! I love having a little one in the swing this year vs. just looking at in anticipation last summer!

I have been wanting to get a pair of nude pumps for a while now.  I see pictures of celebrities in them all the time and they truly do go with everything.  However,  I have a terrible time buying myself things now that Cassidy is around.  I decided to splurge on a pair as my “Woo hoo! Made it to 6 months of pumping…well almost” reward.  I didn’t want to go overboard but looked for a pair that got great reviews and were under $100.00.

I finally ordered a pair Tuesday and got them yesterday (thank you Zappos!) and I LOVE them already.  I have them on with pants today but just know they will look amazing with a skirt or dress.  I plan to actually shave tomorrow (don’t judge; its winter…I think we can all admit that slides a bit during winter) and see how they look with bare legs.  From everything I see and read it really helps your legs look longer and leaner.  We shall soon see.
